Professor Andrey S. Bryukhovestkiy participated in the annual meeting of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society in North America TERMIS-NA, that took place in Orlando, Fl, USA, December 5-8, 2010. The professor presented the results of the clinical trial of tissue engineering of spinal cord injury, as well as the results of animal trial within the scope of novel approach to the therapy of neurooncological diseases. Also Andrey S. Bryukhovetskiy held meetings with Prof. Charles Vacanti, the pioneer of tissue engineering approach and one of the founders of TERMIS, Prof. Anthony Atala, conference Chair and Director of Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, as well as Prof. W. Dalton Dietrich, the Scientific Director of the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
